We're making a Documentary!

Hello,

We (DC Tattoos) are making a documentary! And you could be involved.

Following the success of 'This Old Wound: DC Tattoos' the website, We have decided to release an unofficial DC Documentary.

However, this is no ordinary Documentary. Rather than focusing entirely on the band, we will be focusing on the fans who are a huge asset and aspect to the DC Universe.

I have met and spoke to many a great people through the website and the fans stories need to be heard!

How can you get involved? Well, we are looking to interview fans at the Portsmouth date in April and possibly the 2nd April date in London.

We want to hear your gig stories, see your tats and listen to your opinions on Dashboard Confessional.

If you cant make it to these gigs then fear not! You can still be involved. All you will need is a Webcam (fairly good quality please) or a video camera and do a 1min (maximum) video of yourself beginning with

I love Dashboard Confessional Because:

And then explain why!

If you feel you could help out or would like to help out in any other aspect then feel free to email us with ideas, your videos and saying if you'd like to be interviewed to

wishfulthinkerproductions@gmail.com

Or reply here with your email and we will contact you in due course!

Eric & Courtney

I received this email from Eric (25) and Courtney (26) from Gilbert, AZ who got engaged during a rendition of 'Hands Down' at a D/C concert! This it they're story:

"My wife, Courtney, and I have been following Dashboard since the beginning. The first tattoos we ever got were a declaration to our love for one another and Dashboard. We actually got engaged during 'Hands Down' at a Dash concert and it is "our song". So a few months after we got married we got tattoos together. We both got the record adapter logo and she got the first line of the song winding down here arm and I got the last line across my chest. Their music has meant a great deal to us as a couple. It had guided us through times and helped us celebrate. The other Dashboard tattoo is the Shade of Poison Trees apple I have on my arm. When the band sent out emails months before the album including nothing more than that apple logo itself I was pumped. I found out this was for sure the album cover art and that same week (before I heard a note of the album) I got it inked on me. I did it as a declaration to my trust and faith in the band. I knew I could trust Chris and the band to always produce music that means a great deal to me. I was correct and "The Shade of Poison Trees" is an album that Courtney and I hold very close to heart."

Love em! Thanks for sharing guys.

Yvonne

Got this awesome tat and story through from Yvonne over at our MySpace (www.myspace.com/thisoldwoundtattoos)

"this tattoo is an ugly one^^ but a reminder of the best event in my life - Seeing D/C live and meeting Chris and the guys. I decided to get one because Chris is able to show me with his words and music what the reason is to live. His music is hurt, pain and the amazingly firework you feel inside that comes with love and happiness. Although I did not experience all of these things like he did it he makes me able to feel it that way and to somehow know what it would feel like. His music is a big part of my life or better one big reason to keep me alive...waiting for the next song and the next show and so on...I ♥ this tattoo and I will work it out to make it better ;)"

Thanks Yvonne
